Wetsanding - how to??

If your wet sanding clear coat, the water will be milky white as you sand, if the water turns the color of your car, you have gone too far. If you dont go through the clear, it should be safe. Just gotta be cool about it, exspecially around ridges and edges, I still have a hard time with those. Its always, "just a little more" and then Color comes through. So carefull. Might want to find a old fender, kids wagon, lawnmower ect and pratice on first. It does take a little pratice and finness.

No you are thinking of another show, TRUCKS! did a Ford Explorer a dark green color with clear coat. They touched on the difference b/w clear and ss in the segment.
