I just got my 2000 GS 400, and the previous owner had put some really crappy wood trim practically everywhere (gauge cluster, all the vents, over the stereo, etc.).
I had a friend at an auto accessories shop (who installs wood trim) remove it with a heat gun. All the trim came off nicely, but there is a lot of residue from the glue that held the wood trim in place. My friend suggested I take it to a detail shop to see what they could do. I'm worried that to have it look acceptable I'm going to need some more fake crap on my car![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Has anyone ever removed glue residue from these areas of your car, and how did you do it?
Thanks!
