My detailing experience
I recently purchased a new '05 ES 330, pearl white in color. I want to keep her looking good so I have been surfing various Lexus and car related sites looking for the best products to buy. I found that Zaino came highly recommended, as did 303 Aerospace protectant.
I bought some Zaino, did the whole prep thing and applied 4 coats of the Z2pro over a two week period. I also used the Z6 in between coats and the Z8. I also used the Zaino car wash. All I can say is WOW
It looks really good. It looks so good on my Lexus that I used it on my wife's 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Its dark blue and shows everything...dust, dirt, you name it. Again, I did the whole prep thing, used the Zaino car was, the Z2pro, Z6 and Z8 and that vehicle looks amazing. It has never looked this good...even new! I applied 3 coats over a two week period.
I have used 303 in the past but was re-introduced to it because of the Lexus. I have used it on the tires, interior, headlights....anything plastic or vinyl. It all looks amazing. The interiors of both vehicles look great!
I am sold on both products. With these two products there is no reason ever to have a dirty car. I also bought a California Car Duster to use on a regular basis to keep 'em both looking good.
I thought I would share my positive experience with the group. There is something about a really clean car that makes you smile.................and other people look at you

303 protectant is the absolute best. I too use it on all vinyl and leather surfaces. I've never used Zaino, but I heard great things about it. (I use Klasse AIO and SG, and whatever OTC stuff I pick up on clearances). You may also want to add a can or two of Stoner's Invisible Glass to your arsenal. It's the other "must have" item that I can think of. Good luck. JB.

I put Z2 Pro on my ES trunk lid and I have been impressed as well. I'm going to do the whole car soon for winter.
I'm going to order the ZFX solution this week for enhanced cross-linking and gloss.

Does the 303 protectant give the tires some shine when applied to them? I like the tires to have a little gloss to them but I really dont like them wet or too glossy. I usually apply the tire shine and then wipe most of it off because its too much

I buy 303 by the gallon at www.autogeek.com. It costs $50.00 per gallon and I usually buy two at a time.
