I use some professional stuff that I got from my dealership days. Forgot what its called(as this wont help you at all). It foams up and wipes off streak free everytime. I use a Microfiber to wpe it off with.

I would try Stoners. I have heard very good things from this product.

I usually use wax on all of my windows(outside only).

I use and can recommend two products. Stoner's IG and Meguiars NXT Glass Cleaner. I give the nod to NXT but both will leave film free, streak free glass.

Use either with microfiber towels.

When i got my windoes tinted, the guy told me not to use products with ammonia, such as windex, because it turns the tints that purple color you see a lot.

I just recently used Windex with newspaper on the outside and just water and a cloth on the inside tinted windows. They used Johnson & Johnson Baby shampoo and water to clean the inside windows at the tint place, i might try that.

I have found that NXT can leave streaks at times. My favorite is 1Z Scheibenklar.

I also like Stoners but not as much. The problem with Stoners is the metal cans make me anxious around glass and it is a bit hard to control the spray compared with 1Z.

I also recommend a waffle weave glass specialty towel from PakShak. They are the best.

I have been using invisible glass for the past three weeks now. At first i thought it was great on my three week old sc430 however yesterday when i pulled the car out of the garage after cleaning it i had morning sunshine shinning through the windows and sure enough there were hazy streaks

Oh well still on the hunt

I've had good results from IG with a couple of quality short-nap microfibers. No streaks. I recently started using Meguiar's Glass Cleaner and I like it better than Stoners but for me neither leave streaks.

I think your streaks may disappear if you gently rebuff the glass with a dry mf.

A mix of 25% metholated spirits and 75% water works better than just about anything you can buy !!
Add in using newspaper to clean it off and that's as good as it gets , absolutely streak free , I use that mix on tinted as well with no ill effects , mirrors and house glass get the same treatment .
Tried all the so called fantastic guareenteed streak free mega-buck stuff and you can keep it !! LOL

Thanks,
Windex works fine. You may be using paper towel. Use a cotton towel to remove the streak.

Modern newspaper use soy-based ink vs. the old petroleum-based ink, so it no longer works well.

Windex works fine.
Windex streaks like crazy in my experience, even with the quality mf I use.

Another vote for Stoner Invisible Glass. I've been using it for about 3 years and I think it's great! Sometimes you can find it at Sam's Club in bundled packages of 2 or 3 (I forget which).

a note to people who use wax on their windows..

on the windshield your wipers will skip and jump around if you use wax.

not a good idea to coat your windows with wax. using an automotive glass cleaner is the best choice.

Sam's Club often has 4-packs for around $9.
