What would be good to remove the yellow marker they use at the salvage yard?

Default What would be good to remove the yellow marker they use at the salvage yard?

I have a used part with yellow marker on it from the salvage yard, this is some tuff stuff, as paint thinner didn't make a dent in it.

STP carb cleaner :P that stuff burns like a ***** in an open papercut x.x

hmm, try gasoline if all else fails. just make sure the part is cool (obviously). you could try stuff like Goo be Gone or other sticky stuff remover. i used WD-40 to get rid of dealer sticker residue.

AFAIK, Goo Gone is made up of the same type of stuff as gas and lighter fluid. I'd try that first before buying some for only one use.

PS, you're also driving around with expired temporary plates.
