I used ScratchX to remove some water spots from my dad's SUV and my arm was aching after doing a portion of the roof. You can't really see them because the are only on the roof and you can't really see them from the ground and they aren't that noticeable. I know that they are there and will probably take care of them once I get a PC and all the stuff that goes along with it.

Will have to get backing plate and pads from him anyways, so might as well pick it up all at one time. Now I just have to pick a line of polishes to try. It's between Menzerna, Poorboy's, 1Z and Optimum. I would be using these for our other cars and probably eventually on my GS300.

You better double check that purchase again if you did.
I'd return since it's a sander not a polisher.

"These tools are essentially identical in that they all use the same body."
This is the same as the 7424, and also is smoother than the 7424 since it has a bigger counterweight, since I am going to use 6.5" pads.

7424 (orbital buffer)
7424 (orbital buffer) is the best.
please steer clear of rotary buffers, as you are probley gona mess up your paint job.
7424 is virtualy iddiot proof as its an orbital buffer.
