Price for front bumper.?.
a friend of mine was driving my es300(yes, i should never let anyone drive it).. she cracked my bumber on a stop sign(Ran INTO THE stop sign)... anyways.. long story short... the driver side of bumper crack in two and it's all taped up now.. i would like to know what is the best way in repair. and if you guys can give me a price so i can let her know how much it'll be..
should i use the broken bumper and mold it back?? how much?
OEM ES300 bumper is 100bucks on ebay.. how much would it cost to paint it? ..

$100 is a good price.
To paint it will cost in the $200 to $400 range generally, depending on the shop and whether or not they will be installing it, and what type paint they use.
You will spend about $100 in specialized materials alone to repair it and without experience doing it, it won't look very good. Better to buy a good bumber on ebay or elsewhere and have a shop spray it. Good luck.

i would also suggest getting a new bumper from an aftermarket company like certi-fit or keystone. both are reputable shops and you can typically get a bumper for under $100. certi-fit is usually under $50. then take it to a shop have them prep and paint it and install. i would say total you should spend no more than $400-500.

getting factory paint is a misconception. factory paint is applied specially and baked at very high temperatures. every car is equipped with a paint code specific to that color. at a body shop or paint shop they mix the color based on that code. it is all computer generated based on factory samples. so the actual paint you get doesnt really matter. i would just make sure they are registered with the kind of paint they use. most paint manufacturers will life time guarantee the work done at an authorized shop. i personally prefer PPG platinum shops but that is just personal preference.
