How much to do a COMPLETE cleaning, polishing, waxing, detailing job on your GS?
I've been quoted $175 for a complete detailing job.. Given that I will never do it myself, do you guys think it's too much? and if any of you in Boston, any ideas?

Forgot to say, this is a special detailing place, everything is manual. And he will use any products I recommend. I was planning on doing this once a year or something, keeping the regular washes in between. what do u guys think.
This is what it includes:
STAGE TWO EXTERIOR-From $175.00*
* Hand wash, air purge and towel dry.
* Machine apply chemical paint cleaner.
* Machine apply polish to condition paint.
* Hand apply a pure wax (polymer is also av.)
* Clean and condition tires, vinyl & rubber.
* Clean wheels w/non acid type cleaner (polishing is extra)
* Clean windows.
* Pick Up/Delivery

Yes, as Leechiro mentioned make sure you get the true quote and not accept just the "from" quote.
That said, IF you got it for $175 that's a very good deal IMO. Usually over $200. Between $200-$300 in a city area is common.

the detail shop that'll be working on my car is $180 for a full exterior/interior detail (it'll cost more 'cause i'm going to add on some optional services) but it includes everything from steam cleaning the engine bay and undercarriage, cleaning the leather and shampooing the carpets, and buffing and waxing the car.. plus a lot more so like everyone else says, i think $150+ is a reasonable price, you get what you pay for!
