I would NOT recommend a duster. Pollen when dry is abrasive and that may micro-marr your finish.

Damn that Plant Sperm. Wash your car and wax the sucker good. Wax will help prevent the pollen from sticking to the car. Thats at least what i did here in Florida.

Wash it. Thats what I do. I never was a fan of those Cali Dusters. FOr some reason I think they could put scratches in your car.

If its not really bad, I use a microfiber thats pretty damp with spray wax and wipe it down.

I've seen a Cali duster mar the paint. I also have seen them drop small bits of paraffin wax that sticks to the paint and grabs dust. I'd rather wash the car.

Swirls are easier to prevent than to eliminate.

I live in Orlando, and I have a black ES. I wash and wax it once every 2 weeks, and the pollen still resides on my car. I guess the wax method probably works on a light colored car, but definitely not on mine

Default duster sux

california dusters arnt good for dark colour cars, can cause micro scratches.

best thing to do besides washing it is just taking a micro towel and wiping it off.

waxing helps alot aswell for darker colours.

I've seen a Cali duster mar the paint.
I've also seen it several times with my own eyes. Dangerous little tool.

thats exactly what my detailer told me, if the car is dusty/polleny dont use the cali duster, but to take some spray wax and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth

Thinking the the Cali duster would work with Pollen, I tried to use it on my blue onyx IS. After doing the hood I stoped immediately because I noticed light scratches from where I used the duster. Dont know if it was using it with pollen or using the cali duster all together caused the scratches but I know that I will never using it again.

I bought one to test it on my car. I have a metallic champagne color and I did notice small scratches when using it on a normal basis to remove pollen and dust No more car duster for me! I either wash the car or if I'm lazy, just wipe it down with a damp microfiber towel
