Default Spider webbing on front bumper - anyway to cover up without painting?

A small animal ran out in front of me and caught the drivers front of my IS bumper which caused spider webbing around the drivers marker light and a couple lines on the front. Is there any way to buff the clear and remove or cover up some of the lines in the clear coat?

If I have to paint, I'm just going to change the whole front end.

I found this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/automotive-care-and-detailing/73816-repairing-paint-cracks-in-sc-nose.html

But it looks like he may have had more damage than myself. I believe I only put stress cracks in the clear itself. Make any difference?

Brian, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's nothing available to hide that. The paint is indeed cracked and it's...*possible* the cracking goes right down into the urethane bumper, and not just the paint. The only way to know for sure is to strip off the paint and then see what the bumper surface shows.

You're right about replacing the bumper, because if it IS cracked that bad below the paint, repainting it will show the stress cracks through the paint. Ask me how I know this, lol.

Live and learn.

Got those as well on the front nose and rear bumper they showed really well after i polished and waxed her nothing like that before that tho, and hard to tell unless your really up close or I point them out.

Theres got to be a way to get rid of them instead of a full repaint.

Any suggestions?

There really is no way to get rid of them and they will also spread over time like a cracked windshield. You will have to strip the paint off the bumper completely in order for them not to come back again.

Update: Used some "Meguiars Gold Class Premium Quik Wax Carnauba Plus" and it worked really well! Even tho they are still there its a whole lot less noticeable and are not white anymore!

I wonder if the Gold Class regular wax would also work.
