How long before 1st Wax?

I just got my new IS 250 and am wondering how long I should wait before its first waxing? I assume it has been waxed by the dealer but I am not sure?

You can wax the car right away, no need to wait. The paint has cured by the time the cars are shipped off to dealers.

it depends on the type of paint used and what kind of equipment they used. A good rule of thumb is to wait at least 30 days but if I wasn't sure I would wait longer (60-90 days). Your painter should be able to tell you how long it needs to gas out. Personally I would wait at least 30 days no matter what they told me.
