Default Washing My Car

Hey Guys,

Excellent forum....Glad I found it...

Question..

My Black 2006 GS is a week old...and I want to wash it tomorrow for this fine weekend coming up here in New York...But, honestly, I dont know what to do..

I want to begin taking care of my car from scratch and I would like to know what is the best and what products do I need to wash my vehicle? What do you recommened? What should I do? What should I not do?

Thanks in advance....

First things first. Don't go to a car wash. With your new black paint you don't want to get swirl marks. There are a lot of good products on the market these days. I have been using Zaino products the last couple years. I have owned many black cars and tried most of the stuff at your local auto parts store. Nothing worked as good for me as the Zaino stuff. It is easy to apply and pretty durable as far as their polishes go. I also use their car wash soap, leather conditioner, clay bars, all that stuff. Check out there website Zainobros.com. Once I tried their stuff I have been using it ever since. I'm sure others will chime in on their favorite products too.

Good Luck
