Yay or nay for car covers?

I've been thinking about getting a car cover because my IS is parked in an underground garage during the week when I don't drive it and it just sits there and collects a little bit of dust.
Are there any covers that are as soft as a microfiber towel? I was thinking if I don't use anything BUT microfiber towel to clean my car with, why use a car cover thats rougher then a MF towel. I saw a car cover at Costco for $30, the inside seemed pretty soft but I'm still scared of leaving scratch marks on my paint.
What kind of car cover do you use if you use one?
Thanks,
TJ

I used to use one from Noah when my car was outside alot. It was more expensive than the one at costco but the inside was very soft. I would recommend since it sits all week to clean the car very good before you put the car cover on so the dust particles and dirt dont rub against the paint and give you scratches

Custom fit is the only way to go... They stay on in the wind and cover much better. It's worth the extra money.
My NOAH cover was supplied by California Car Cover. www.calcarcover.com
A locking cable is also available for a little security.
