Default Cooking Spray/PAM to protect against bugs

So a friend at work told me to spray PAM on the front of my car because I am going to be driving to Naples and Back from Sarasota soon. I think it's like 90 miles each way. She said it's easy to wipe the bugs off if you do this.

Does anyone know if this is bad for the paint? I saw a thread that mentioned this technique but no one could verify it was safe or not. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Todd

Sounds like an interesting thought. I would say it would be OK since we are able to eat it, that it probably doesnt contain anything that will eat the paint away.

It would probably work better if you sprinkled some Mrs. Dash on the windshield as well....haha

The link isn't working for me, I don't have time to order anyway. I am going tomorrow and I just want to do this until I get my Clear Bra installed.

It's working for me now. Sorry!

Do you know if I can pick this up at a store like Wal-mart?

Thanks,

Todd

Nope, sorry. As far as I know you can only get it directly from them. The last order I placed arrived in about 2-3 days. So far, I have been very happy with the quality of their products.
