getting tinted
I've done a search but still have a few questions:
1) How is Llumar tint??? The tint shop I am going to recommends 35% fronts, 15% rear (instead of 35% all around, they say it will look more uniform?)
2) Is Llumar metallic or ceramic based?
3) Never had any of my cars tinted, any damage that I should watch for in the interior of car? (when installer is working, i.e. seats, trim)
thanks in advance.

Tint Laws
Double check your state's tint laws (look up the statute yourself--don't take someone elses word). I just got ticketed for 30% tint and I had to peel off all my tint. The Minnesota state statute provides that the tint must allow at least 50% light transmittance through the window. Limos, SUV's and hearses are exempt. Factory OEM tint is also exempt. I studied the tint statute myself. I am an attorney, and even I could not find any arguments to keep my tint on.
