Default Cleaning applicator Pads

How do you clean wax applicator pads? Or are they made to be tossed?

I just hand wash mine with lots of water, I try not to use soap unless it's extremely necessary. Just keep squeezing over a faucet.

I soak the pads in warm water for an hour and then put it on a table outside. I adjust my washing hose nozzle so that it shoots jet-like water out (not too extreme though). I gets my pad looking almost brand new all the time.

I wash my applicators in a bucket of hot water and Woolite. Works great.
