Default Carpet!

I noticed there weren't any carpet maintainance threads, so yeah.....
I've got some ugly coffe drips all over my 95 es carpet. Any recomendations? (besides getting it steamed by a detailor)

I use the standard spot removal carpet cleaner that you can buy at the store. It seems to do a great job.

i just recently did my carpet plus mats with Simple Green Automotive. i had some tough stains that normal carpet spot remover could not remove. This stuff works great! just spray, brush, then wipe off with a clean rag.

Default tide

Try the Tide pen stain remover. I keep one in my RX350 and I use it on me and the carpet and it works great!!

You can get near hot water extractor results by using any of the above cleaners, a brush to agitate the carpet, some water, and a wet-dry vac. I love to use a stiff bristle brush to brush patterns into the carpet after shampooing or vacuuming. It's strictly a finishing touch.

With the Simple Green do you guys go over the entire carpet or just spots and stains? Im looking for something to make all my carpet look new again. Will this do the trick?

Hi,

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but i'm trying to look for the same solution too, except i need a solution not just to get the carpets looking new, but to get rid of mold.

I was thinking ppl could give a joint answer instead of opening a new thread and getting redundant answers.

yes, simple green for the entire carpet, mats, even headliner (using softer brush)............ works great for all of it!
