Best repair for bumper scratch?
A moment of inattention loading some garden tools in my trunk, and I now have a 1/2" long scratch (looks like a deep key scratch) on my rear bumper. It's deep enough that I see black.
I suppose I could use touchup paint, but even with Langka I suspect that it won't match the crystal white very well, and will stand out like a sore thumb. Obviously a complete bumper repaint would take care of it, but that sounds like overkill for a minor scratch.
Has anyone used one of those spot repair methods like Aero-colors or ChipsAway, where they hit the damaged area with an airbrush? I'm looking for an undetectable, or at least close to undetectable repair.
I'm in central NJ, if you've had experience with a specific shop in my area that was able to work "magic".
Thanks for your thoughts.
