If I wash, clay, apply meguiars #7 show car glaze, and wax.. will my swirl marks be gone? I guess what I'm really asking is does a claybar and megs #7 eliminate the swirls?

I tried searching this up, but the search feature is not working for me right now

Eliminate? No. Hide? Yes. #7 is a glaze, it will fill fine scratches. You need an abrasive polish to remove them. Clay does not remove scratches but contaminants.

So wouldn't it be a good idea to actually get them removed with an abrasive polish, or are there complications here? What product do you suggest?

Yes, it's a good idea to remove them. As for complications; well - that depends on what you consider complicated. Polishing is a pretty misunderstood part of car care. I am answering a similar question here:

Give it a read.

99% of swirls are caused by improper washing. Modern paint is soft, it doesn't take much to scratch it and all swirls are are thousands of tiny scratches. When you see "spider-webs" on cars in the sun, they are almost always the result of auto washes, diapers, dirty rags, dirty water, etc, etc.

2 things come to mind then, 1. your detailer is using products that hide the swirls and it's simply washing away and exposing the same swirls you always had or 2. your detailer is doing a fine job of removing the swirls and your wash method is inducing them.

The fine spider web swirls are usually cause by washing
