Paint Scuff
Hi guys,
The other day, my younger brother took my car out and somehow ended up grazing a wooden light pole with the lower right side part of the rear bumper while parking. Luckily there are no dents, just what appears to be a 5 inch brown colored mark on top of the paint.
Is there anything I can purchase to help remove this mark without harming the paint? I dunno what else to do besides take it into the dealer. I'm praying that the paint itself wasn't damaged badly.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Eddie

I would first try to apply some quick detailer spray, and then use a paint scratch remover applicant like Meguiar's Scratch-X. That stuff does wonders on fine scratches and scuffs, and it really removes them without doing any harm to the paint. Only costs $6 at your local Wal-mart or any auto parts store.
