Zaino....3 years later...

That's awesome Hameed. Our paint is almost identical.
I believe claying removes all traces of any oxidation, tree sap and waxes/polishes that were on the paint.
For some odd reason, I'm led to believe this Zaino polymer sealent may have a small percentage of actually bonding to the paint? sittin' on the clear coat permanently?
I don't know much about chemistry or physics, but could this be true?
According to Zaino, the more coats the better and mirror finish you can achieve.
Maybe it's all that advertising mumbo jumbo.
Anyhow, I'm glad I've maintained the paint in prestine condition and found out about the detailing tips and tricks from this terrific forum.

I dont know much about zaino sealant, but my guess is that clay bar should get most, if not all the sealant out of the paint. I'm not sure how the sealant can fuse into the clear coat.

If your car is new or old, I'd recommend and others can agree....that claying is the proper way to remove minor oxidation on the clear coat if it hasn't been clayed before or have been sitting around and have collected some weathering crap like tree sap, paint, road tar and other elements.
Then, it's ready for the wax/polish/polymer sealent application.
I have learned that this detailing process is tedious and repetitive.
It's easy to pay someone to detail your car for you, but it's hard work doing it on your own and saving the few bucks.
But as long as you enjoy the labors of your own hard work and time you put into it,
the outcome is gratifying and can be priceless.

After five years and 75,000 miles, my SC430 got its first clay barring and Zaino treatment. Wow. It looks amazingly good now. Dirt on the light colored leather which Lexol would barely touch came off in three or four wipes with Zaino's leather cleaner. The leather in a bottle looks great, but its strong odor (almost chlorine like) is still present after a week so, I'll not use that again. The cleaner, though, is a must have.
This was my first time out clay barring. Used Mothers claybar kit after Dawn and my usuall 200 MPH Toro blow dry. Six hours later I had her clayed smooth and a few coats of Z2 and ZFX. Just spectacular. Even had someone come up to me a few days later to ask about the car. 75,000 miles on it and now it practically looks new (if not shinier than new)
With the "beater" SC430 under my belt, I felt confident enough to do the process on my wife's Aston Martin Vantage. Zaino looked great on Lexus paint, but OMG on the mirror flat Aston paint it worked even better. The car looks better than delivered a year ago.
Hooked on Zaino now....
