Default removing double sided tape from window visor??

i bought some used window visor and the wanted to replace the double sided tape. i tried heat gun and it gets most of it off but still leaves a layer or stickie.. i also used some "goof off" but its way too slow.. i need to make like 6 passes to clean a 1 inch area. takes too long. any easier way to remove the double side tape off the plastic window visor. ????

Default How to get double sided tape off your vent visors

Use rubbing alcohol! It gets anything sticking off of just about any surface & doesn't hurt the surface material. It works!

I agree. Put some on a towel and it takes a little rubbing but it works

Rubbing alcohol can harm painted surfaces... just an FYI. If using on painted surfaces, it is best to dilute down to a 15% solution to be very safe.

use a heavy duty degreaser apply it with a tiny painters brush. worked great for me and didnt damage the plastic at all. if it does fade the plastic a bit, use rubbing compound to bring back the shine.
