Clear Bra and Tint Advice
Hi all, I'm the proud new owner of a Matidor Red/Black 2007 IS350 with Lux, ML/NAV, PA, Adapt Cruise, G-Spiders, and everthing else that I could check (I ordered in MAY!!). BTW, I replaced the xm sat with the Sirrius sat from Lexus-Parts and it works great.
Anyway, my dealer refered me to a 3rd party to get the tint/bra installed, and I just wanted to get some advice.
Should I completely stay away the metalic tint completely, or just on a particular window? The store owner says everything they use is ceramic, but it also has metalic in it?? What is the best type of 3m tint to use?
As far as the bra, she says they choose to not roll the edges, is that a concern, or pretty much industry standard?
I appreciate all comments.

Hi,
from what I was told, metallic is a no-no with Nav,ceramic is fine and is the best at rejecting UV.
My clear bra went to the edges but not rolled over, but I am satisfied with the results..

metallic tint will mess with your AM radio, but your nav will be fine because it's on teh front windshield behind the mirror. If you tint the front windshield don't use metallic.
