Default Cashmere Interior Discoloration

I have a crystal white/cashmere and I love the color combo BUT, I recently noticed that my driver seat, if looked at closesly, is getting darker. It has like a bluish tint (I'm guessing from jeans). My question is, is there any way to get this out of the seat and if so what product would you use or would a detailer be able to do it? Any help would be much appreciated.

My wifes lether seats are very light in her truck. They turned slight blue like you are talking about. We just use leather cleaner and conditioner and it comes right out. My IS also has cashmere but havn't started turning the slight blue yet because I spent all my cash on the car and can't get new jeans

i had the same problem...i tried all types of cleaners and no luck. the stain is there to stay. i even had a professional leather maker person come in and try to get it out...no luck. i ended up buyin seat covers..some may disagree that i did, but it will in the end save my seats. hope that helps.

I noticed this starting to happen to the driver's seat of my car too. I was able to get it off with Lexol leather cleaner. I don't know how severe yours was though. Mine wasn't all that bad.

I have cashmere as well. I was also concerned about this.

After reading through these two threads, I felt a lot better about being able to address any issues I might encounter with my leather. Lots of good comments and ideas for keeping it looking nice.

I think those blueish are from your jean. you can shampoo your leather. it helps and mine are as good as new. I have about 11K miles on my car.

this works great

I have ivory in my IS300 and have never experienced any blue transfer from my jeans. I wonder if there is a difference from IS300 leather to new IS leather. probably is but I don't know.

Ok? You realize that this can happen on any color other than black (which has problems of its own.) I clean/condition my leather every 2 weeks using Lexol from ocdgarage.com and not only is my leather flawless, but there`s never been a person who sits in my car for the first time who doesn`t give a compliment on it.

New IS has perforated leather... Don`t know if the old one did or not.

But about the jean thing, it can happen on any leather. Doesn`t matter if it`s in your car or in your living room, jeans can do that.

Yes i agree. With my black interior.. when i don't condition it monthly.. i start seeing creases in a lighter color....

Mine is perforated since I have full leather, as opposed to escaine.

i have EXACTLY the same problem, i wear blue scrubs to work every day and thats where i think it's coming from. I've tried about 4 different leather cleaners, and of course warm soapy water but its still bluish. I've since put a little towel on the drivers seat........

I have had the same problem but it is my leather belt that has caused a darker brown stripe on the back of the seat where it rubs against it. My leather is light tan so you can see it, looks like it is very dirty but no matter what I use to clean it it will not come out. I have tried Lexol Leather cleaner and just an interior cleaner and no luck.
