Anyone who has 30% or darker ceremic tint, feedback please!
I just got my IS and my wife's TSX tinted with Huper Optik Ceremic 30% and they looks like **** still after 4 days! Ghosting and bubbles are all over. Anyone who has 30% or darker ceremic tint, how was your experience and how do they look? I'm here in Orlando and there's only 1 place for Huper Optik installer. I want to give them a chance to correct it but I want to know if anyone out there who has it done successfully without ghosting and bubbles. Thanks!

Dont have Huper Optik but I have Formula One Pinnacle ceramic 15% and no problems with bubbling or ghosting. My only complaint with it is that I wish they made a film darker than 15%.

I got a good deal on the tint too since I brought in two cars (IS350 and TSX) and they gave me discount of $500 total. That's a great deal for ceremic. But I rather not get the discount and get the tinting done right the first place. Now I have to spend more time just for them to fix it...what a pain.

The Formula One wasnt cheap -- paid $450 for one car -- but I'm happy with the results and worth it in my mind. I'm sure I could've gotten stuff for much less, but wasnt worried about cost, just results.
One good thing about the Formula One is that the manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty on both the product and the work. If I ever have problems with it, I can have any Formula One dealer in the country replace it with no cost -- doesn't have to be the same shop that installed it.

Local tinter says there could be bubbles and haziness up to 10 days. I say if it doesn't disappear by then, take it back. If it's a reputable tinter, they will be happy to correct the issue to save their reputation.

I had bubbles for about a month after getting HuperOptik 35%. Paid 500 for all the way around and was about to take it back, but one day I get in the car and the bubbles are gone! I ran into the guy who tinted it at Barnes and Noble the other day and he was so proud of how it turned out.

Keep in mind that "Lifetime Warranty" only applies if your tint is legal. The manufacturer warranty is voided if you have any tint outside the scope of legal limits. Usually, the installer will honor the lifetime warranty in this case.
I posted an attachment that has legal limits for each state in THIS thread.
