I just came across a pic of this GS! It's on the second page and is labeled "LEX2".......
How long and what products would I need to make my car THAT SHINY??
What an incredible wax job!! Tell me how to get those results!!

Anyone noticed
anyone notice that the gs 400's paint tends to get rough due to build up. I have gotten my buffed twice already due to this problem. Went to the dealer, and saw that a lot of other GS's had the same rough feelin. By the way, I clean my car on a weekly-biweekly basis soooooo........???????/

Wash it
Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax
Meguiar's quick detail spray one day later
It will shine and have amazing depth
This is my routine and my paint is slippery smooth and like a mirror

But if you use Zaino Wax and ever need to get part of your car painted it will be very hard to match.

Was going through the Lexus Lobby and read a reply from LEX430 who posted a link to a website on NSX. There was an article on the web site regarding Zaino vs. Zymol and Meguiar's.

Besides regular wax applications, once a year I "claybar" my car. My brother in-law gave me the idea and I tried it this year. You remove all the wax build-up, which you will be quite surprised how much build-up you accumulate each year. You can find the clay at any auto store and I suggest having a friend help you out, since you are going to claybar the entire car once, personal preference is to clay bar the front twice, then add a new layer of wax, etc....This has worked for me and the car is VERY shiny and smooth afterwards....
