If the sratches are to deep it will not work.. Its hard to tell with the naked eye how deep these sratches are. I use this product quit often myself and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't? but it does work.. GL

The way I test a scratch to see if it can be removed with a product like Scratch-X is to run my fingernail across the scratch. If my nail does not catch on the scratch then Scratch-X will probably work to remove it, but if I can feel the scratch with my fingernail, then it is too deep for Scratch-X to work. And when using Scratch-X, several applications are often needed on the same area. I've spent as much a half an hour or more on one little scratch - applying and working in, then buffing and reapplying, etc. It takes time, but eventually the scratch will disappear.

For slightly faster cutting use a terry cloth applicator. For finishing use a foam applicator. Use firm even pressure and vigorous strokes. ScratchX is fairly mild so multiple applications will be needed for some scratches. Work the product until it breaks down but not until it dries.
