Any of the meguiars products is good to use. Of course there are alot more on the market which are more expensive and work a little better. You cant go wrong with the meguiars products. Cleaner wax, clay bar kit, wax, quick detail are probably the most common products used as well as the car wash liquid.

Meguiar's best selling and most durable wax product is their NXT Tech Wax. In fact, it is the best selling wax in the US. It's really a polymer sealant that is easy to apply and remove. It leaves a very reflective shine.

I'd also highly recommend using their "Smooth Surface" clay kit prior to waxing.

speaking of.... i just did that yesterday. only took about 3 hours to wash, clay, and wax.... using all meguiars products. This was my first time actually using the clay bar.... ever! im usually pretty **** about keeping my car clean, and i must say... this has been the prettiest shes ever been!!! i'm very happy with meguiars and will continue to use it.

That sounded like an infomercial (spellcheck) for Meguiars. i should get a free goody basket for that....

Just a quick run down for you though. Getting your car to look the best (exterior) is typically a three step process:

1. Clean - Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
2. Polish - Deep Crystal System Polish
3. Wax - Deep Crystal Carnuaba Wax or NXT Generation Tech Wax

If you haven't cared for your paint in a while, you may need to apply the following:

Scratch and swirl remover
Clay bars

And to maintain the shine, you some kind of quick detailer.

One consideration I found using the newer "NXT" wax.

One needs to let it dry for a half hour or so. This is a little out of the ordinary.

When dry, the wax doesn't smear when the haze is removed.
