help me with paint fading pillar!!
i just got the car a few weeks ago, and have decided to do the whole zaino treatment this weekend. however, she's got some annoying fading and chipping on the door pillar. see attachments. any thoughts or suggestions? i considered peeling it all off, and leaving the chrome, but i'm more partial to the black. thanks!

dude chrome is da BOMB!!in my own opinion...
Since it's jacked up like that already peel it to chrome.
If you really want the blk paint it over..
No wax or anything will cure it...good day

You can try painting it with Duplicolor trim paint. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/trim.html. Follow the directions on the can.
1. Remove existing paint with red scotch brite pad or use 320 or 400 grit sandpaper
2. Remove dust with wax/grease remover
3. Spray paint lightly with multiple coats. You don't want runs in the paint. allow 5 minutes per coat
