Default A sore back, a 12 pack, and lots of @#$%! later..

I finally finished detailing my car! I meant to do it before the winter came but never got a chance. SO finally today it wasn't snowing so I decided to have at it. Started at 830 and just finished but well worth it! I clayed it, used #9 with an orbital and finally NXT tech wax. Results were amazing! Drastic reduction in swirls/webbing. Its not perfect, but its close.

Finally I would like to say THANKS to Guitarman for all his help. He put up with all my annoying PM's and was very very helpful throughout, not to mention all the help his threads have given me. Unfortunately I didnt have a digital on hand So all I have is some crappy camera phone pics. Trust me, no pics would do this finish justice.
Happy New Year ClubLexus!

Now that is a finish worth mentioning. Nice elbow grease.

Thanks for the compliments CL! Unfortunately it rained soon after and I had to drive in it and muck up my finish oh well!
I do have a couple more pics and I'll post them when I have more time. Even though I know most of you are probably more experienced detailers the one piece of advice I will offer is to take many many breaks. I found myself slacking if I went for a few hours straight ( maybe it was the corona ? )
Good luck with your own projects!

Haha, it happens - the nice thing is as soon as you wash it again BOOM, it will look awesome. Very nice work; Guitarman is a detailing guru, no?

Hey guys, don't stone me if this is a horrible question! Can I just use QD on the car rather than wash it if it just has some water stains/dirt and bird poop on the hood? I always wash the car but now I'm tempted to do this. Again sorry if this is blasphemous!
