Pretty much turned out to be a disaster. The installer claims he thought I had an IS (says his store manager told him that) not and ES and when he went to do the full hood wrap, the material was 4"-6" short in places, so he stretched it. I am waiting for it to fully dry before making a final decision, but at the moment it is real bad. The material has visible stretch marks, a couple actual tears in it, bubbles that have turned white, etc.

The right and left fenders (the intentention was for the whole front of the car) look good, but the hood that was stretched is really bad. At this point I am hoping it looks better when completely dry, but I tend to doubt it will. After that, I guess I will have to go back and see what other options there are. He mentioned just doing the normal 12" or so strip on the front of the hood, but since the fenders are completley done, I think I would lean towards doing as much of the hood as a sheet would cover, which would probably put my 'line' or the end of the material about 4" from the top (windshield) side of the hood.

Anyway, definately didn't turn out how I had hoped.

Take it back and have them redo it, that's absolutely unacceptable! If not, bring the vehicle to us and we'll redo it for you. We'll also be happy to send your dealer the bill, which will include the cost of removing they're mistake!

Good luck...and keep us updated.

Have them re-do it. I've seen stretched films and they look *worse* after time, not better. In fact, I'd get a refund and use a different shop all together.
