If your worried about the time it takes to clean your rims, then just leave the stockers on.

Simple Green works as well as plain water. I use the Turtle Wax wheel cleaner. Just spray it on and hose off. It dissolves whatever road grime with ease. Leaves no residue nor stains.

I also use it to clean the engine compartment. Works extremely well. Cheap, too.

i use it and it works great... well i applied it when i first got my rims so i'm not sure how much it helps but my rims are a lot easier to clean then i expected it to be.
