Glove box scratch/indentation

So my friend got into my car today and put a slight scratch/indentation into my perfect glove box... I know that it's covered in a leathery material and just wanna know if there's any way to get the dent out... I was told heating it up with a hair dryer and working at it with my finger might work... My car OCD is kicking in big time with this. Any idears?
