Percentage doesn't make as much a difference as material when it comes to heat. Ceramic has the most heat absorption, metallic is second. I had HO on my last car and liked it, but the reflectively always bothered me so I went metallic this time around. So far so good.

Hmmm... I just visited that Formula One site that golfproatl linked to, and it actually has a metallic tint (the "Premier Series") listed as the one with the best heat rejection. In their table, it the Premier Series has 60% rejection with 20% tint, whereas the Pinnacle Series has 59% rejection at 15%...
Maybe I'm just thinking about this too much, heh. Just seems a little strange.
Anyone have a site with numbers like that for the hiper optik tint? EDIT: Based on a quick Google search, it's actually "Huper Optik"???
You mean it wasn't reflective enough? Or it was too reflective?

I had my Mercedes tinted and I plan on getting my SC tinted soon, My Benz had 15 on the side windows and that ended up getting cut by a police officer who was later fired. The legal limit in Texas is 25% on all the side windows, 0% on the front. And (I think but I am not sure) there is no limit on the rear windshield. In Texas you'll only run into problems about tinting law if you live in a greater metropolitan area.

Well I think I know how to find Formula One dealers using that link someone posted earlier... but I can't find Huper Optik dealers. I tried visiting their website, and it wasn't much help. Anyone know where I can look up local dealers? Or know where any are in the DFW area? (especially near downtown Plano).
