No dealership car washes for my cars, ever!! I watched a dealer wash boy drop his drying towel on the ground, pick it up, and continue using it to dry the Lexus he was working on!! You can't trust someone to wash your car if they don't give a s#*@ about it.

I used to with my older cars but not now. I worked pretty hard to get most of the swirls and scratches out of my finish that I could with the PC and don't want a bunch more put back in from someone using dirty rags and towels that were probrably dropped on the ground 20 times that day and soaking in filthy water. If it is a beater that you don't care too much about then go for it, if it is something you take pride in especially a black or dark color car don't let them touch it, the first thing I tell them is do not wash my car if taking it in for service. Some kid or guy getting paid 8 or 9 bucks an hour to wash cars at the dealership does not care about your car and could care less what kind of damage they do as long as they don't get caught.

My dealer does a pretty good job on washing my car never really had a problem. But I only let them do the outside not the inside beside when I go in for detail.....

I use a great local detailer to wash and wax my LS.
