Im so mad at myself. I was driving today and went to ash out of my sunroof and I missed and hit the headliner.

What should I do? I'm going to clean the black away so you can't see the burn mark obviously. But is there anything I can do to cover it up? I might have to hide it. Luckily it's pretty much dead center so I can probably cover it with something.
And.. Im also not going to smoke in the Lex anymore.

Wow, that's a tough one. Some fabric cleaner will take out the stain, but the actual burn is going to require some thinking, unless someone else here has a magical solution. Here is the only thread I was able to pull up by searching autopia. Might help some:

One possibility; go to a sticker/ sign shop and have them make you a rectangular, color-matched sticker with the Lexus logo or something else you'd want written on it, and just cover over the burn. They can likely get close to that background color and you can pick a contrasting color for the logo. Might even look like it was designed to be there if you get your measurements right. Cost; about $10.
Hope that helps.

Well I am having an embroidary shop make an iron on JL Audio patch- just like this:

Its going to have a black background with white text.
I had them make it an iron on because I figured it could be glued to the headliner.. but would it just be better to iron it onto the headliner or do you think that would burn it worse?

Trim the burned material away and dye it? Some makeup? There will be some remnants of the burn, but outside of replacing the headliner, you can atleast make it blend as much as possible. A quick shot of some flat paint of the same color? (You'd have to cover up the rest of the car real good though).
