Simply outstanding.

What pad and polish combo did you use for the deepest scratches?

For the deep scratches, the Intensive polish and orange cutting pad was enough.

Nice contrasts between before and after pics..Black Onyx is friendly to work with, paints not too hard or soft...Excellent results!

BTW, Heres my version of black onyx detail via rotary w/megs 1x yellow/red pad optinum polish, poorboys natty blue seal, clay magic..etc..

Thanks for the positive feedback...!

It took me 6 hours for exterior and interior w/o engine bay..If I cleaned the bay, it would've probably took me much longer...My beefer Makita rotary might have sped up the process a bit...I've always wanted to try a PC, it seems PC has been much favored over the rotary nowdays since they are error proof and lighter..

Keep up the awesome work!

Nice work, how did you get that big scratch out on the car? I am going to need to get a PC and some polish because some idiot was driving his pickup and a big peice of particle board flew out and hit my car. Naturally he did not have any insurance or a license and promised to pay for the damages he caused but now he is just ignoring my calls like I predicted he would so I will have to get the police involved even though that will probrably not get him to pay for the damages he caused. I am not sure if a PC and polish will get rid of most of the damage which are scrapes and scratches but will do until I can get it repainted.

That sucks, man. If you are talking about the bumper, I just touched up the paint and gave it a few days to cure. Then I just buffed it as smooth as I could get it.

Here is a photoshoot I did a few days ago. The Works have been sold locally. My 19" Racing Harts should be here on Monday. I will be doing a full polishing job (like the Works) when I have some time.

I do wheel refinishing too (as a hobby):

Before (peeling chrome):

After (chrome stripped and polished):

Thanks for looking.

Awesome job on car and wheels. Nothing looks better than black when done right. I use to have a lot of black cars then I got lazy so I bought a silver one.
