I've used PlastX, I've used the Megiuars aluminum/billet polish, and a couple of others...the product I use now that I really like which gives great results is the Novus plastic cleaning kit. It comes in 3 bottles (#1 polish, #2 fine scratch remover, and a #3 heavy scratch remover). I bought the entire kit and it cost about $10-12, but just to let you guys know that nowadays I only use the #2 fine scratch remover and then spritz my lights with a spray product called "Brillianize" and the results are excellent.

Hope this helps someone.

Nice job!! I just had my driver's side headlight replaced and passenger side looks horrible compared to the new. I am definitely ordering some.

But does it come with a UV protectant?
Remember the Plastix and other will bring out the shine, but the elements will return it RIGHT BACK to dingy looking over time because it does not have a protectant from the elements.

what can i use to seal it? i did a GS a couple of months back and now they are a little dirty looking again. i used 2000 grit wetsand and then rubbed plastix on it. do i need to use a sealant so it will last as long as a new headlight?

definitely the best outcome I have seen so far. well done. My car is an 05 and about 7 years old. My lights are absolutely perfect, but then again, my car is garage kept. I'm starting to wonder if maybe my lights were replaced when the car was CPO'd at Lexus. Either way I'm happy. But again, your work on that ES is amazing. Great turn around!
