You didn't state what condition your paint is in. You also didn't state what your goals are. Do you want a head-turning look or just a durable sealant. Do you want a one-step product like a cleaner/wax or do you want the best shine possible.

As to wax recommendations:
It gets pretty hot in Texas so a sealant is likely a better choice than a carnauba wax. Carnauba products can evaporate in blistering heat. I'd suggest Meguiar's NXT or their #21 Synthetic Sealant. Either will deliver good shine and durability.

Back to the basics... The purpose of a wax or sealant is to provide protection to the paint. The stunning looks of a well detailed car comes from the preparation and not from the wax or sealant.

You might want to clay your paint and then use a polish before applying the wax or sealant if you want that stepped-up eye-popping look. You might try picking up a clay kit and maybe some paint cleaner and polish at your automotive store.

If you are not into that level of detail, a good cleaner/wax product from Meguiar's, Mother's or Zymol will do.

Here is a link to a poll of what wax Lexus owners here use on their car.
