Default just finished detailing my car and i have some questions...

I finally had the chance to detail my car today and seen great results after 10+ hrs of braking my back.

Heres what I did for the exterior:
- Wash Car
- Clay with Meguirs Clay Kit
- Polished with Menzerma Intensive Polish
- then again with Menzerma Final Polish
- I sealed it with Klasses ALL IN ONE
- Glaze with Klasses High Gloss Sealant Glaze
-Wax with Pinnacle Souveren
- added a 2nd coat of wax after 24hrs
- Clean the plastic with Meguirs Plastx

For the interior:
-Vacuum
- Clean seat with Meguirs Leather Conditioner
- Clean glass with Stoners
- Cleaned the rims and added tire glaze

I was wondering if there is any other glaze products that is easy to buff out? And how do I wash my used Portor Cable 7424 pads?

Well first we need to see pics of course but your using some great products IMO.. I've been using the pinnacle kit for awhile and Mcquires clay bar and products and there so easy to work with.. nice selection..

I thought the sealant comes after the wax as your final application.. I've never used a sealant before..

The sealant comes before the wax.

The Klasse AIO is a cleaner, this doesnt seal anything. It actually prepares the paint for the glaze/wax.

I can't get my camera to work at the moment. But I will try to take some pics as soon as possible.

How do I wash the polishing pads?

I toss my pads in the washing machine (Maytag Neptune front loader on delicate cycle) with some woolite. I set the washer do an extra rinse cycle. I put the damp pads in ziploc bags and I leave the bag unsealed so they will dry without forming mold but they are protected from dust and contamination.

One of the Meguiar's representatives suggests that you don't wash the pads at all. He recommend that you dedicate a pad for each product you use and just let the pad dry with the old polish in it. When you go to reuse the pad they suggest slapping on a counter a few times to dislodge any dried polish and you're good to go.

I wash mine in the front loader as well with no fabric softner just plain detergent.. Then dry them normally.. YOu can also wash them by hand under the sink if you have a heavy pad with wax on it etc...
