im a big meguires fan myself, i like there wheel cleaner etc. but i really have never liked thier instant detailer, for that i use mothers. seems to leave less of a residue. But recently i have switched to zaino...... very happy with that product line, even though its more pricey.

Which one? They make four.

•Quik Detailer in the red bottle is ok. (Consumer line - $6.50/16oz.)

•NXT Speed Detailer is excellent. (Consumer line $8.70/24oz.)

#34 Final Inspection is excellent. (Professional line - $24.50/gal/ $7/16 oz.) This one is body shop safe.

•Last Touch Detailer is excellent (Detailer line - $20/gal.)

Megs makes some great products. NXT (sealant) followed up with a good carnuba wax is an awsome combination. It's a little extra work but well worth the effort

definitely use clay bar, no matter what brand polish or wax you prefer.
Meguiar's #7 is a very good glaze.
However #9 is a swirl and scratch remover. that can be used before #7.
