Glove compartment scratch won't come off :( ...
Well, a few months ago this girl accidentally scraped my glove compartment with her stilettos, and now there's a white scratch on there .
It looks like it's only a light scratch, but soap and water couldn't get rid of it.
Are there any products that will do the job?
Thanks in advance!

my friend's girlfriend had an unexplained scrape and scratch on her steering wheel. when she brought it to the dealer for an oil change, they were able to remove it. maybe they have some kind of buffing pad for it. I'm sure if you call them, they'll be more than happy to help you out.

All the leather and vinyl material in the vehicle are painted. If you try an abrasive fix like a "Magic Eraser" be careful. Being too aggressive will remove the paint and it will look worse than before you started. If it's still there after a light try with the eraser take it to a professional. The eraser will change the sheen and appearance slightly so be cautious.

So would that "expert" be a detailer?

yes, it was leather, but it was something that would not come off with soap and water, but the dealer was able to remove it.
that would be an expert detailer...yes. if he's reputable of course.
