Default PC 7424 questions..

IS this the best polisher/waxer for beginners or is there another polisher that i should look into.. For example my neighbor bought a cheap polisher that looks like the PC and he has used it a numbar of times on his black car and the end result is great.. It also has adjustable speeds. Like everyone else i'm afraid to burn into the paint and cause damage..

Cheaper polishers are ok for wax application and removal but they just don't have the cojones needed to polish out swirls. IMO, they are useless for serious detailing and a waste of money. The PC is rugged and mine is 11 years old and gets weekly use. It is one of the best detailing tools I've ever purchased.

Consider the PC as a tool. The extra investment is well worth it. As Jim was saying, many of the polishers out ther just dont have the "nads" required on some jobs. The PC 7424 is a tried and true product.
I know this was directed at Jim and I dont mean to hijack the post.
My PC was purchased at Autogeek. They have several packages available.

Got mine at Lowes last year. It was a clearance product for 29 bucks. I was able to polish, and wax with it. My car is flawless.

Sometimes the low prices are because they dont come with a counterweight or backing plate, you really have to read the fineprint. If it came with these....you got one heck of a deal
