The Golden Rule is Thin is In. meaning apply very thinly as that works best. Also try to clay the surface and do a light polish with Z-PC followed by Z-6 then Z-5 Pro for best results.

Hey bozer, congrats on your purchase of Zaino. You will love the look of your car when you finish up. I know I did. What i recommend is reading the sticky on how exactly Zaino works and recommended steps. Here is link:: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=106621 there is alot of valuable information there. Good Luck

Preparation is key, once you Dawn wash, make sure you clay to remove surface contaminants. Use Z5 Pro with ZFX and you can easily do 3 layered coats. Z5 Pro will give your black real pop. Z5 works well on dark colors and Z2 works better with lighter colors, that seems to be the opinions I have read and my own experience. I use Z5 on my 06 Flint Mica GS.

Am I ok with just this? Its all I will have for this weekend.

Could you guys tell me which order to go with just this stuff? I know theres lots of posts about this but all the "Z5-z6-Z1bazillion" stuff is mad confusing, lol.

Thanks guys.. I will post pics for you once I finish.

I'd order the Z-PC polish and the Porter Cable 7336 as well to prep the surface.

Ok but saturday is almost here and I've spent over $100 on cleaning supplies already. Any suggestions on the best way to use what i bought?

Also, what about the windows? Is glass plus fine?

It's easy. Wash then clay then polish (if you can) then Z-6 then Z-2pro or Z-5pro sealant then Z-8. Follow the instructions and use as little as possible.

It just arrived at my house. Can't wait to try this out tomorrow. Is it ok to just use Glass Plus for the windows? What about the rest of the interior?

Ok folks..

Used Zaino on the car this weekend.

The whole process took like 5 hours, but we were BBQ'ing and drinking beers during it so it was actually pretty fun. Not sure if I'd want to do it very often but I will probably do it 3 or 4 times per summer.

In an incredibly weird coincedence, I mentioned this to my father in law who turns out to be Sal Zaino's first cousin. Apparently he's a millionair from it. Such a small world... I'll probably have tons of free Zaino coming to my house soon. They are very close cousins. So awesome.

Here's some pics... the stuff really makes your car look like a mirror. First time user here and I think it came out pretty damn good.

All in all, I highly recommend it

Looks good
In the first photo of the door, there was some haziness, might want to go over that with a quick detailer.

i love zaino, nice thing about it is if you use thier detailer spray it bonds with the other stuff, so its sort of like a booster. I reapply a coat every 2 monthes or so, looks awesome......
