How to clean Mark Levinson stereo faceplate?
What do you guys use to clean the Mark Levinson stereo faceplate? I wanted to check with all you gurus before I use something that may possibly damage the brushed metal finish on the ML faceplate.
Thanks!
Thanks!

On most of the interior surfaces in my SC I just use a damp cloth... there is no way you can damage anything and it gets it looking as good as new.
occasionally on the wood I'll use some pledge, but that’s about it
but as far as chemicals.... and thing that is not abrasive or have ammonia in it should be fine...

Moist microfiber towels will clean just about all of the interior, including the screens and instruments. Browse the Detailing forum. The folks there are the experts and they'll tell you how to remove stains and scratches. Good luck.

Take it from me, the Brillo pad will do more harm than good.
If you do need something stronger than water, you can use a glass cleaner that does NOT contain ammonia. If a glass cleaner says it is OK for tinted windows, then it should be OK.
Same for the NAV screen. Especially for the NAV screen, as ammonia will damage the touch screen surface over time.
Use nothing harsher than a microfiber towel. Never use a kitchen "paper towel" like Bounty -- these are actually very harsh and abrasive.

a microfiber towel and meguiar's quick interior detailer.....

works very well for me.
smells good, no greasy films -- keeps the original look with UV protection.
