Default Cleaning windows

Whats the best way to get the cleanest, clearest windows? What product do you guys use? I'm used to just using windex and some paper towels and it looks clean but then when im driving at night i notice how horrible and annoying the streaks are.

If the windows are not tinted you can use newspaper or a micro fiber cloth works well to. I use the can cleaners with a micro fiber cloth and then go back over with a dry one and they always come out streak free.

Stoner's is a great OTC product. On a whim I tried Adam's glass cleaner and I have to admit....I love it. (The first Adam's product I've liked in years!)

The keys are to use as little product as needed, and to make sure you have an absorbant towel. I actually use shop towels - applying the product to them, not the glass - followed by an MF towel for a final buff to remove streaks. Not totally foolproof, but it's much better than the 1,742 other methods I've tried over the years.

I believe stoners makes a product called "invisible glass" and it's in a can.

Great stuff. I think the foaming action help remove residue.

My favorites:

1. Meguiars Glass Cleaner from their detailer line. 1 gallon concentrate makes 11 gallons of cleaner.

2. Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner.

3. Stoners IG.

I use the above with a couple fine-nap microfiber towels for streak free glass.

I just use a small MF towel dipped in my ONR wash solution (first thing I wash is the windows), semi-wring it out, wipe off all windows in and out, and then dry with a waffle weave towel. It is cheap and effective.

I like Eagle One 20/20 Perfect Vision Auto Glass Cleaner or Stoner's Invisible Glass. Both are great. I avoid anything with ammonia in it because it could stain some of the interior surfaces and it is not good for paint.
