Default ?? Painting a center console, question

Anyone know what to use to paint center console, what kind of paint to use?
Is anyone did this before? Is paint peeling off after time? Is it sticky in hot whether?
Any information about it appriciate.

i think you should just take it and get it redone.. because paint and eblow on a hot day = nasty sticky mess....get it redone for around 35-40 bucks

You meant elbow , right ?
Well i don't want to paint that lid or whatever it calls, just the center console.
I got black interior but mine center console is broken and it was so hard to get in black so i bought it in tan and now i want to match the color.

Krylon Fusion paint is specifically made for plastics, but I doubt you'll find it in the tan shade that matches.

If you already bought the tan, does it match? If so, you should degrease the console, then spray plastic prep/ adhesion promoter on it prior to painting.

Done correctly, that should work very well, and not peel etc.

The paint you're referring to is available at body shop/ auto paint places. I've used DuPont Vinyl Color (that's the name of the product) and SEM Colorcoat.

They are intended for spray guns or airbrushes etc.
