I was going to say that the 1st before/after pics look the same. But the 2nd set definitely shows a difference. Nice job.

That is my impression as well. Showing a car that is less than 6 months old as being detailed is not justified in the pics. I cannot tell the difference.

Show us the car 1 year from now. Then you'll have my props.

It depends of course, but in general I disagree. Six months is plenty of time for surface contaminants and swirl marks & light scratches to collect on the finish. These are amplified on a dark vehicle. They're also amplified by the fact that most dealership details are of horrible quality.

In pictures - particularly lo-res digital shots viewed on a forum site - it can be difficult to see a difference. However, I clayed, polished, and sealed both new vehicles in our household and was very surprised at the results. Particularly the claying process - there was a lot of crap on the finish.

looks sweet but why are you using a cleaner wax, let alone a clay bar on a brand new car???

He didn't. He used a separate paint cleaner then NXT Tech Wax and then #26. No cleaner/wax there.

New cars benefit from a clay bar as most are shipped by rail and have rail dust on the paint. I clay and clean every new car I buy. Might as well start out right with the products I know and trust.
