Simoniz System 5: Is it worth it?
I just bought a 06 GS300, I want to protect the finish and a friend of mine used the system 5. Do you guys think its worth it or should i just zaino my car?
Please give me your suggestions.
thanks

Between the two I'd definitely use Zaino. Their products are outstanding. Some are a bit tempermental, so if detailing isn't really your thing I'd recommend a more forgiving product line. OTC...anything from Meguiars or Mothers. Boutique...Poorboy's always comes to mind.
Congrats on the car...

Pole Position
My dealer included in with the purchase of my GS350. I wasn't interested it but if they were going to throw it in, I said why not since it was a brand new car and the fresh paint will be protected from the start. So far, I have no complaints as far as protection goes from things associated with environmental fallout - bird bombs, water spots, tree sap etc. No way does it help with shine or reflectivity. I use NXT for that.

I would pass, even on a new car you're paint needs to be cleaned before a sealant is applied. At a minimum I clay and polish my new paint before I put a sealant or wax on it.
