Default Cleaning Interior

How are you other members cleaning the interior for example the dash? it seems that no matter what i use to wipe it down , i still see light rub marks that look like scratches on the black dash, How does everybody else clean there interior from dust?

I use wet towelette to wipe down. I am not sure I understand how you can see scratched on black matte dash. On mine even if I scratch something on the dash I do not think I will see it. Maybe I am misunderstanding the location your are talking about.

You have to use something wet, I usually use just water but its not cutting it anymore. Im starting to get the dry look but I bought some Meguiars stuff. What I would like to know is, what is everyone using to clean the top half of the car?? Cause of the material of our roof it makes me scared of using anything. Any input??

For the headliner I use Adam's Carpet and Upolestry Cleaner. I try not to touch it unless I get dirty hand prints which has only been once so far

well i guess i will attempt to use a moist terrycloth for the dash, i just always heard to not use anything with water because the sun will make the dash crack, but maybe that was only for hondas/acuras...as far as the top liner , i just pray no one touches it and if they do i get a clean dry terry cloth and pat it down

make sure you use an actual prtectant on the dash, or else your dash will fade/crack etc. I use diluted armorall (well, it is cheap) but i heard aerospace protectant is great. Also, use a microfiber towel when cleaning the dash, because it is lint free and picks up dust more easily.

Meguiar's #40 has UV protection - great stuff on door gaskets also.
